J and J,

Glad you all had a great time. It was wonderful having you all here. BTW, this event kicks off my month-long Bday celebration. The celebration ends on a day of enjoying the Interlagos track and a few nightly friends in Brazil :-)

Great company, wonderful food, delicious beverages, magical music, and properly aged cigars followed by a brisk drive.

Life should be filled with these joys and many more...

Enjoy the Drive,

Steven R. Rochlin

"When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you

If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do

Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of
Their secret longing

Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true"

Steven,
Thanks again! You were a tremendous host! The filet mignon was grilled to perfection. The food was incredible all around and the company couldn't be beat. We enjoyed the nice drive up to NH. Couldn't beat the weather either. I hope to see you all on the cape on Aug 3 or even sooner. We'll have a get together at our house maybe in the fall. Keep in touch!

Best,
Jonathan

Steven, thank you! Ferraris, great food and good company, doesnt get any better than that!
For those that could not attend, the delightful meal started with Stevens delicious garlic rolls, perfectly prepared steak and corn, accompanied by a fine red wine, finished with a delightful cappuccino.
Beautiful Ferraris (and Porsche 930) as Verell listed.
Best of all, interesting guests.
Again Steven, thank you!

A HUGE thanks to EVERYONE who came. Alas, have a date tonight and therefore have no time to post photos. Will do so on a separate thread. Will also gladly snail mail a CD-R of ALL the photos to everyone who attended :-)

MANY THANKS one and all and hope to see you all again during leaf peeping season. As always...

Enjoy the Drive,

THANKS STEVEN, HAD A GREAT TIME!
Steaks, corn, & Cappuccino were great!

John Beaucher & I ended up caravaning up together.

There was quite a turn-out:
3-308s(The Birds: Jonathan Christine w/soon to be baby bird, Steven's & mine) ,
1-348(John Beaucher),
1-355(Michael Calvo & his wife).

Also, a P* turbo.

Rex Miscovitch unfortunately discovered a broken dist. shaft this AM, so he & his wife arrived via a teal Taurus.

I forgot & left home w/o my camera or (even worse) Beer. I was saved by dehydration thru the kindness of other guests. - THANKS!!!

Photos were taken, I'm sure they'll be posted soon.

Verell, would have loved to caravan with you. Unfortunately, I am not sure of the exact time I am leaving. Tying up some loose ends here at the office in preparation for our mid-year audit starting Monday. Our email has been down, at the office, for a couple of days. I can send but cannot receive (royal pain).
What time are you planning to leave? Are you taking the 308?
Look forward to seeing you and Steve, as well as meeting other N.E. Ferrari enthusiasts. 348 is dirty as hell, no time to clean recently!

John Beaucher,
In case you're scanning the F*Chat:
Havent received a response to my eMAIL suggestion that you stop by here tomorrow & we'll drive together up to Steven's cookout. There are some
really nifty back-roads we can take up thru Brookline, NH., then take 101 to bypass Milford.

Sorry Steven, I cannot make it. We're having my sons 1st birthday party this weekend (was supposed to be 2 weeks ago but had to move things).

Hopefully I will see you (and other FChat members) during the Cape event on Aug. 3rd.

Enjoy the drive guys, Black 360 is now back at FNE having some new brake pads following their caning at Lime-Rock. I've also started inquiries into the purchase of some challenge wheels/slicks so that I can harry the guys in their 355Cs next time...

I'll be thinking of everyone whilst at my clambake - fortunately we'll have a very large cooler full of beer!

Have fun!

Steven,
If it 'doesn't go up' then it's not a diode failure. You've got open wiring, a bad connector, or a relay problem.

The diode failure causes winking, blinking, over-running type problems, not plain failure to operate.

Anyway, we'll sort it out. I think I'm open most nights this week, also (tentatively) next weekend.
Also think most evenings of 4-July week. Probably will have some family function on the 4th tho.

What works for you?

Doom, doom and thrice doom. I'm having everyone from my company (+ families) over to my house that day for the annual company clambake.

Woodmans comes to your house and does the whole thing - its great. But it means I can't make this event.

Sorry guys.

I'll mark my calendar tentatively. Like Doody, I too, need to check with the boss. I am looking forward to finding great roads in NH to drive the fcar.

Verell,

Sounds great! BTW, one of my headlight motors has the dreaded diode problem and, therefore, does not go up. The motor works and all, but seems i need to replace the diodes as i checked everything else (cleaned contacts, swapped relays, etc). Maybe we can make a it a fast ans easy project soon? Please let me know my friend.

Enjoy the Drive,

Steven R. Rochlin

Hi Everyone,

Would like to hold a party at my place here at 03086 in July. July 19th seems like a great date and the driving roads here are amazingly fun! Add to that i will personally cook various things Italia (and/or FRESH steaks if so voted for). Those who enjoyed the get together at Verell's may remember my quick toasted Garlic rolls. That is simply the beginning. Wine connoisseurs, espresso/cappuccino lovers, and cigar aficionados might also take note as ALL will be provided in the appropriate quantities :-)

Of course what REALLY matters is the friendship and the drive. Besides the usual roads, we can drive to the top of a local mountain and bask at the breathtaking scenery (see photo below).

So how about it?

Enjoy the food, fine wine, aged cigars, espresso, and THE DRIVE,

Steven R. Rochlin
