He dug a pit in the garage so he could park the car over it and work on it like that; a lot cheaper than buying a lift...

...um... at least, that's what i THINK he did. :-)

Vincent:

Diane and I are going to Safari West on Friday. Flying the plane into Santa Rosa avoiding the commute traffic, and then driving over to Safari West. Call me on the cell, or I'll call you. I have little to do on Thursday, if you want to take a ride to Carmel in the plane.

Bill,

Your assuming a lot. But I hope to see more than one kind of horse while I'm there.

Damn shame I won't be north of Delmar on horseyday. It would be an honor to meet a man who has a full weather station on a 250!

Our paths will cross.

Art,

I'll give you a call. I'm cooking august ninth. A birthday celebration, no more 18 year olds for me.

Vincent.

I'm going to be cheching out the horses that weekend too. Just a bit North in Monterey!
Now I am assuming you will be stopping by Symbolic while your in Del Mar. A spendy show room but a feast for the eyes!

Bill,

good choices! Oregon is nice, though it rains quite a bit. Monterrey-Big Sur, perfect ferrari location.

I'm heading to delmar on the weekend of Pebble, Learjet to opening day at the horse track. Never been. I'll let you know how it is.

The dream location is Monterey-Big Sur, followed by Laguna or Del Mar.
The reality location is going to be Newport Beach Oregon as a starting place!

Bill:

Central California SF on the North to Santa Barbara on the South. Probably the best climate in the world. IF you're near the coast, even better. Taxes, and regulation are difficult, but a very small price to live in the best place on the Planet.

Bill,

Where? If you could move anywhere.

the weather has been weird here as well, lighting (first time in eight years) and rain on the 30th of July. Feels like St. Louis, weird.

This must be wreaking havoc on your sensitive weather instruments?

Vincent,
Its the temperature here. It's been at 100 degrees for two or three weeks.
We go from 40 below zero to 100 degrees in 4 months.
I'm moving.

I'm very hurt that Shiftn4gears didn't include the North section in his spam campaign!
What the hell are we anyway Chopped Liver?
I'm not going to buy one of his freaking cars if he doesn't have the balls to come here.
Well, I'm not going to buy one of his cars anyway. And I might be looking.
