Rich, It's good to finally know some dates. My 355 is manual so I'll have to do it the old fashion way. Are you going to attend the track event this year? |

Chris: you've got to do it. Wacking that F1 transmission down a couple of gears at the end of the straight at Summit would sound and feel awsome by the way |

Yes it is October 18 & 19 and boy what an eye-opener. They have instructors who ride along and the one I had was excellent. I learned more in that one day than I learned in my whole life. They have three classes ranging from introductory to hot shoe. Along with lots of street Ferraris and 911s there were a ton of track cars like a 333sp, 512 BB LM and a ton of 360 and 355 Challenge cars. My group got out for 5 sessions of at least 20 minutes. The info to get ready is on the FoW web site. In the Touring group all you really need to do is have the car teched at FoW and have a Snell rated Auto (not bike) Helmet. They even have a catered lunch. Unbelievably good fun. |

Rich, I've heard FoW is having another track day sometime in late September / early October at Summit Point. Hopefully I'll be able to make that event. |

I've only just joined the club but I've done a track day with FoW. Definitely something to do again and again. My neighbor has a couple of Ferraris and a Ducati, so most of my Ferrari "club " experience involves having a beer with him and talking race cars and bikes. |

I'm kinda surprised that there isn't much activity on here for our region. Has anyone been to any local FCA events / meetings? If so what did you think? |

On a sort of related note...How many people here on FChat live in the Maryland / DC / Northern VA area? Maybe we could organize a meet / drive sometime this year? |

I saw 3 Ferraris in Old Town Alexandria Monday night. Why not it was perfect weather. I thought I "knew" all the Ferraris in Alexandria and these were all new - 2 355 spiders and a 328. Was it anyone on the list? |
