Hey, 2500 miles sounds like a hell of a good drive in a Ferrari. Man, it would cost me a small fortune in gas though. Jonathan |

Well, Eastport sounds like a great place to escape the late July/early Aug. hot spell. Cindy & I will be interested in coming. We've always wanted to see that part of Maine. |

Well, I guess the best thing to do would be to try to nail down a weekend. We only have a year so we better start throwing out dates. We can start with the month. What month? Jonathan

Hi Everyone, I'm floating an idea out there for thoughts. I have a house in Eastport, Maine. Check your maps. It's as far north as you can go on the coast of Maine. It's a 6 hour drive from Boston. (yeah, that's three tanks of gas in my 308!) The drive from Boston to Bangor is 3.5 hours of Rte 95 at about 85 MPH. Then the fun starts. 2.5 hours of driving twisty back roads that have for the most part been recently repaved. Very fun. I have never brought the Ferrari up but I was thinking that if any of you were feeling adventurous, a long weekend drive to Maine with a night or two stay in a house by the ocean might be fun. I'm thinking next summer of course. Here's some pics of the house: http://home.comcast.net/~jonathan.bird/ Would anyone be up for that? 4 or 5 Ferraris showing up in Eastport would probably make the paper! Jonathan
