Vincent, This one is for pleasure only. I'm looking forward to the first time in 11 years that we have taken off more than a Friday and Weekend! |

I've been to Egypt and it's awesome. The structures are amazing. Also took a trip to St/ Catherines's monastery where we got to see the oldest printed texts of the bible. Is it business or pleasure? Vincent. |

Bob, Thanks for the info. It looks like it will be a Ferrariless trip. I will stop by the Jaguar place just for the hell of it. Bill |

I have lived the past few years in Cairo and saw only two Ferraris there. One was a blue 456 at a golf course by the pyramids and the other was a blue 348 on the street. Did not get a chance to talk to either owner. The Jag dealer sells Ferraris at its Heiopolis shop and has opened a second outlet in Mohandessin, but shortly after they put up the Ferrari sign on the front of that building, they covered it with a Jaguar sign. Cairo would be one of the worst cities in the world in which to own a Ferrari because of the very unusual road and traffic situations. If you have not been there before, you will see what I'm saying within minutes of arrival.

Sorry, none that I know of. It's not exactly a hotbed for F-car activity. |

Thanks Wayne, I should have realized you would know. Now how about vintage dealers or brokers? |

Bill, the only factory-authorized Ferrari/Maserati dealer in Egypt is "Jaguar Egypt" located at: 9 El Obour Buildings, Salah Salem St Heliopolis, Cairo Tel:00202-4017329 Fax:00202-263614 Unfortunately, this is what Ferrari has to say about them: "Owing to the current economic situation in Egypt, all our operations in Egypt are currently being handled from the Jaguar dealership in Helipolis. The dedicated Ferrari and Maserati Showroom is currently closed, however full aftersales and service facilities are available to customers." |

Are there any enthusiasts in Egypt on the board? I will be in Cairo for several weeks in Dec. and would love to meet up with any owners or enthusiasts there. Does anyone know of dealers vintage or otherwise there. |
