Will- What a pleasure meeting you and Mary. Barbara and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with you between sessions. Your blue 360 Challenge is absolutely stunning! What a color! Gorgeous! Oh yeah, it also runs well! You were doin' pretty good out there....definitely keeping most of 'em at bay! And the sound...it doesn't get any better than that. Yes, we'll definitely be back, as we've been attending for the last several years. Gotta go get Barbara fitted for a helmet; she wants to drive next year. Again, it was a pleasure. Thanks much for stopping by to say 'hello'. Jon K.- It was nice to see you again. Thanks for the time you spent speaking with us as I know you had a very busy day on the track. Most appreciated. As always, it was a treat to spend some time with you. Hope you ran as well on Sunday as you were doing when we watched you for a couple sessions on Saturday. You were giving those 360s hell! We look forward to seeing you next time and, hopefully, can procure a ride for a few laps. Tony- Barbara and I should be at the Criswell event as we've attended for the past 3 years. Always some fantastic cars. There's a Bizzarini(sp?) that usually shows up and definitely makes it worth the trip alone just to see and hear it. We'll be there for the staging but won't be going on the Tour. Look for us. Thanks to all for a great day at the track!  | ||

Hope you all had fun-I did my best to keep the young ferrari fans satisfied at the rockville car show-only Ferrari there... Fun to see kids look at the car. And I got it up to 90 or so on the beltway home. Any interest in the italian day thing next sunday? | ||

Went to the track day yesterday -had to leave because I couldn't stand just watching - you know how it goes. The 2 Challenge cars owned by folks that I believe are on the seemed to have had it hooked up real well- fun to see you guys out there. | ||

Tony- yeah, it is a nice track; I've run my TVR there & on the Jefferson track a dozen times but have yet to take the Ferrari out on either track. The 355 Challenge you saw was probably Jon Kofod's who is on this board. I met him there at the last event. Rich- I'll look for you on Saturday; we should be there 'bout 10am or so; yellow 328. | ||

I was going to participate, but I just got out of a 3 week trial and my schedule has been blown to bits. I will at least spectate on Saturday. | ||

I may take my car to some antique show on the 19th. I wouldn't want to bully all the newer ferraris with my 4 liter V12 (lol). Its a great track though-I had alot of fun there with my old supra TT. 135-140mph by the end of the straight, and plenty of technically challenging corners. 1 car destroyed that time (Honda s2000 wound up in the woods with the wheels torn off) and another s2000 blew its engine. One 355 there last time in full challenge spec, but it was lapped by a modded miata. If you guys go, remember that enzo is watching and wants you to go fast. | ||

Anybody planning to attend the FMoW/FCA track day at Summit Point on Saturday/Sunday Oct.18th-Oct.19th? Barbara & I plan to be there on Saturday for sure and possibly on Sunday too. |
