That's interesting. The type of motor oil changes with supply availability too. They used Shell Rotella at the shop before they finally secured a supply of the unobtainable Shell Helix oil that was prescribed in the manuals. Maybe the blue transaxle oil was the same deal? |

Today i purchased 10 pints of Ferrari spec Oil from Ferrari of seattle for $147.21. I had changed my Transaxle Oil when I bought the car at 6200 mi. In going through the records which I have back to birth - the transaxle oil was never changed before that point. The oil came out Blue. My neighbor who just bought his car has blue transaxle oil also. Tino claims Ferrari Transaxle oil is not blue its natural oil color. tino believes the Blue oil is a non Ferrari oil. WHO CAN SETTLE THIS DEBATE? I'm putting the Ferrari of seattle oil in before the Canada trip at 12,200 miles - who knows it might be like magic beans at that price. |
