Bill, they look similar but are completely different cars. Some major differences are: Europa: 2963cc version of Lampredi-designed V-12, bore/stroke = 68mm x 68mm, output = 200bhp at 6000rpm. Chassis = tipo 103, wheelbase = 2800mm. Europa GT: 2953cc Columbo-designed V-12, bore/stroke = 58.8mm x 73mm, output = 220bhp at 6500rpm. Chassis = tipo 508, wheelbase = 2600mm There are a multitude of other differences as well. IMO, the introduction of the Europa GT was a milestone in Ferrari history and represented an important step in Ferrari's transformation into a builder of production automobiles. |

What is the difference between the Europa and the Europa GT? I have seen both, been in both, and driven one. It was a few years ago, and I cannot remember the freaking difference except for about 100,000 Bucks. Wayne I bet you know! |
