Okay, the B&B I stayed at is called "Auberge Le Lupin." Call 819-425-5474 and ask for Pierre or Sylvie. The website is www.lelupin.com

You will be less than a couple of miles from the track.

Of course, being a B&B, you will not get any high rise view. But Pierre cooks a mean full breakfast and, if you're nice (which I know that you are), he will take you on his nightly dog walk to discuss world views and "what's it all about..."

Have Fun

Bill, I stayed in Tremblant in June right before the GP. Fantastic place. I stayed at a great B&B. I prefer a B&B over a hotel, much more personal. I'll look up the name tomorrow and post.

But I can't say enough great things about Tremblant. Only thing I found better in Canada is a place north of Ottawa called "31 Mile Lake," but that's another story for another time.

Dale

ps I owe you one for your driving tips. They came in very handy.

Hi, I have a condo up there, so I haven't stayed at a hotel, but I would guess the Fairmont is very nice, its right on the hill, south side. Might even be nicer than the Westin...check it out.

I sent you an e-mail Whart with a name and number of my friend there - I am sure he and his wife can help you!

Have a wonderful time!

the Westin is the best, MAKE sure you get on the top floor, it is worth the extra!

Dana and I were just there in May, it is beautiful...

Advice on lodging, food, etc.? Thinking of going in late Sept. for a couple days of private tutoring and if the wife joins, will want to make sure both of us are not camping out. It looks like the Westin is the top hotel there, but i'm basing this totally on website info. Who has been there, and what say you?
