Omar,
the E31 is a great Grand Touring car! However, I may be getting ready to try selling it soon as I just do not drive it but maybe 1-2 every 3 weeks or so and it just sits. 1991 was the big year for 850's and from 92 up the production numbers went way down.

Interested? I may start to advertise soon as I have my Jalpa running now and just took in new Chevy Blazer for the daily and ride a bike when I need some fresh air.

Sports car Market price guide shows $22-35K. These are for strong #2 cars.

Larry,

I have seen your car in action, based on the pictures. Very sharp!

Hi guys, I use to be a regular here of sorts (ex-348) but now I have a 87 Jalpa. Maybe I can offer a little insight. I have for the most part restored/rejunivated/rebuilt the entire car.

Jalpa # 360
(not actual wheels)

Here's the short story: the $30~35 K range is pretty reasonable but there are very nice examples that can and should go for more and inversely there are some pigs out there (keep an eye on e-bay for some of these) but there some very good ones as well.

I have only had difficulty with one part and that was a minor-non-eccential part. Most parts are still available via several sources and yes can be expensive but not so much more than a Ferrari, in fact on quite a few parts are interchangable but that is usually discovered via just knowing Ferrari & Lambo parts. This issue will improve as Audi (Lambo owner) has started a factory program for support restoration and parts for the "Vintage" Cars.

Jalpa's are rare with only 410 units produced over a 6 year period and to my understanding only 120 unit imported originally to USA. Numbers probably vary.

Most of the existing Jalpa's are not serviced correctly and have been neglected to some degree because it is hard to find someone who can and will service these cars therefore have fallen into less than desireable condition. The cost justification to perform a professional qualified Lambo service is the same as say a Countach/Diablo and the values on these are much higher. The car is a blast, very rare (relatively) to a Ferraris and even other Lambo models for that matter. The sound is just awesome (F1 sound with cats on!)

So have some $$$ to spend on the cars or be very good with wrenches.

If I can assist with questions just drop a note, I have looked a pretty good selection of this model and have a good feel for quality samples.

you normally see cras for sale at the $30-35k range. these cars are rare and parts are not cheap. a good mechanic who knows lamborghinis would also be helpful.

From what I hear, service is a b!tch, with parts being more expensive than 3x8 parts. Def. a nice looking car though IMO.

I just saw those pics of The Don's Lamborghini Jalpa and I was just wondering what prices ranged from for one of them. Any input would be appreciated.
