3 years ago a friend of mine and I were driving a car from Florida to Chicago, and decided to overnight in Atlanta. We drove downtown, found a Hyatt and got a room, unaware that it was ground zero for the Space Invaders thing. I'm with Bob--it's not my gig, but all the power to you if it is. Lord knows I have my issues. Anyway, I never saw any girls like those (probably already "beamed up" by then--wink wink). In fact, don't really recall seeing ANY girls. Pretty much all guys running around talking in some sort of sci-fi argot. Kind of funny though. Definitely felt out of place | ||

Yep, we provide uniformed security at some of the cons. We will do this also at Dragon Con. But I will not be among them. Too much fun to be had at the booths than to fill up a day standing at a door. DrS | ||

Yea for me! Well, not really me, I got nothing. My brother is into gaming and I asked him. He was hired to demo the SW role playing game at the con in Ohio(?). He mentioned that some of the conventions use the stormtroopers for security-ultra cool. | ||

i didnt go to dragoncon last year, but after looking at some characters from the Star Wars in full coostume in a restaraunt, i wish i did. it was too funny. A guy that looked like Obi Won even posed for pictures. the whole thing kinda looked like the movie "trekkies" | ||

Yes I played Majic....not for a long time now though. We did it at a few of the clubs before we opened. They had about 50,000 people at the last one. It is a sight to see. A good bet is that none of them will be in a f-car but me!!!!!!! DrS | ||
