My ex-girlfriend gets really spooked by scary movies. After we saw the Ring we went back to my place and later that night when she was asleep, I got out of bed and laid on the floor next to it. Then I let out a scream and she sat up in a panic, kept saying "Randy, Randy are you there?". Needless to say when she went to go look for me and I grabbed her ankle as she stepped on my chest she went bonkers and starting really freaking out. Not that clever, but sure did spook her. |

When I found Fchat in April I read a bunch of the archives before my first post. That thread was absolutely hilarious so it stuck in my mind. I just did a search for it based on unique words from your story like "face glue sofa isle". The same search also reveals whose face it was. |

Des: I';m not going to name names, if he wants he can confess he can, but he does own a 348. The history is as follows: 1. We'd gone to the motorcycle races at the Isle of Man. It was the night of some world championship fight, and we were staying at the majestic hotel (where they told us not to return), and everyone was drinking. I paid the bartender to put a shot of vodka in everything he ordered. By about 10 pm, he was totally shitfaced, and went into the lobby, and passed out on the sofa. I borrowed some glue, and put it on his cheek. He claims that when he woke up, he thought he'd had a stroke, his head hurt, and he couldn't lift it up. After a while, he realized what I'd done to him, and he got assistance to get the cushon off his face. I'd done that to him because, he and I used to race a side-car (I was the monkey) and I refused to wait in line to sign in at the races. At Laguna Seca one year, at the AMA National, with about 100k spectators, he apparent got mad, wrote "Cassanova Plus Marital Aids" for my sponsor. I never let him know I was pissed, but that's how I got even. Art |

A while back, I bought a few Dells for my office. They came with 6 months free AOL. Since we have a T1, I didn't need them and enrolled a friend of mine in AOL as a gift. Somewhere along the way, they ask for a question that the subscriber would know to validate his identity. When it got to that I put down: "Where did I get my face glued to the sofa?" The answer was Isle of Man, which I had done to him in 1988. Well, he got screwed up with the AOL, and had to call them. When they asked the question (I hadn't told him of the question), there was dead silence for about a minute, and he answered the question, then asked where they'd gotten the information about his getting his face glued. He called me about this, and I couldn't stop laughing. By the way, he is a member of this board. Art |
