Congrats William H on the C4 purchase! Love the color combo too

For comparison sake, I saw a C4 almost identical to yours on Bay State Motorsports' website. Here are the links:

http://www.baystatemotorsports.com/93_conv_aqua.htm

Mileage is at 35k, and the $22,995 is close to the "book value" as you stated.

BTW, my wife has her sights set on a C5. Personally, I prefer the C4 models, but it's her choice in the end.

You're right -- with the color combo and open top, you'll have a sweet ride for cruising around Miami for sure! Was just there a few weeks ago to pick up the TR from Martin, and the wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Miami scenery.

I was thinking of red on red also, there was a very nice silver w red interior that I almost bought.
With only 7300 miles I expected to pay a little more, I think blue book is around $22k so I'm no Too far off

29k???? What's the blue book on this? You could easily get a C5 for that kind of money!

I think the C5 is an ugly lump compared to the C2, C3, or C4. Cant wait to see the C6

Yeah the price is pretty high even with the mileage.I think the C5 is definetly a more "exotic" looking car with a ton better chasis. But for me the C4 feels more like a race car to me.The C5 seems like it has to much room in it like a sedan. There's just something about the gauges and radio and HVAC lights on at night that make you feel like your in a jet fighter cockpit. At least on the 90-96 anyway.

I'd think you could get a used C5 convertible for that much $$$.

I still love the C4 even though I'll be getting rid of mine soon probably. 300HP should be plenty for cruising William. Correct me if I'm wrong but the only thing to watch on early LT1's was bad water pumps leaking onto the optispark. They didn't change the optispark around till 95-96.

Got to have a roadster, besides its not for collecting or the track or anything, just for cruising in slow city traffic

Besides I'd get a Callaway twin turbo before a ZR1 :-)

Will, just tell me...why over a ZR1? I have a dealer selling a 92 with 17k miles for less than that! Its teal as well btw.

I found a beautiful convertible C4 in Teal with white leather & a white top. Exactly what I wanted. It has an auto trans but its just for cruising South Beach & getting me to law school every day. Not for the track so no worries. Should have it down within 2 weeks :-)
