Thanks Edgar. It runs well. As far as bang for the buck goes, it is hard to beat them. Mine is modified quite a bit. I think the PO may have banged the front. The paint is fading there.

Greg, Im selling her, best offer so far is $2,500

Lawrence, nice car. I've always liked the 944's body. Mine was an '86 and there were less than 50 turbo's made in that color that year. I've only seen 2 others on the net and none in person.

My 944 turbo looks just like yours did except I have the Fuchs wheels and a roll cage and many paint chips from many track events. Fine car. That piece of hose possibly goes to one of the three metal lines that travel under the intake runners. Two are large; the one for the boost sensor is small. There is also a line that goes to the timing belt cavity. There is a large nipple on the RHS near the top. Mine had one until I changed to a MAF years ago.

yes indeed, that is too bad. If I wasnt tied up with the new home and all I would probably try and spring for it. I want a C4 with the full aero kit spoiler and all.

Edgar

Too bad your not ready to buy now I'm selling my 02 C4S. I think the 996 is a great car, love the looks and performs great plus it's very easy to drive every day.

F-car all the way. I like 911s, but not a big fan of the 996 styling. Sorry Taek!

348

Wise choice of Saab as a quick and cheap interim replacement.

It's not really that bad of damage, just dont have the time or patience, plus since im moving it's just not worth spending the cash right now on something thats just gonna be a headache later on.

<jerk>

No biggie, it was only a 944

Seriously it doesn't look so bad. Why get a replacement? Just fix that one. Get new panels (if you look hard enough you can find ones the same color as your car).

Im picking up a Saab 900S this week as replacement till I move in march, then I'm not sure what I'm gonna buy. It's a toss up between a Ferrari 348 or a Porsche 996 C4. What do you think?
