"He's just standing on his tippy toes" Right you are Ken. Not sure why people are so blown away by that one... as for anything relating to cards, 99.999999% of the time if a magician asks you to pick a card or think of a card, they already know what it is. For instance, almost every time Pen and Teller have someone pick a card, it'll be the 3 of clubs... -R |

I saw a magic show at some trade fair where the magician handed a card out to a pretty girl in the audience and then insisted that he could pull a card out of the pack which would be exactly half what the girl held, or he'd give her $100. The girl held a 7, and the entire audience thought it was hilarious until he pulled out a giant card with the number 3 1/2 on it! I felt really smooth when I got her number. At least, that's what I thought. The magician answered the phone. I guess they were in cahoots. He who laughs last, laughs hardest! |

Terry - You probably didn't see the outtakes There are some pretty common techniques for doing this, but it's still not 100%... I don't know if you actually saw him in person doing it over and over again, but if you just saw the tv show, you probably only witnessed 1/10th of the attempts. Plus there's a bit of prep-work with the participants that you don't see on the show. Otherwise yeah he is a good street magician. His levitating thing is laughable though... -R |

His street magic show is simply jaw dropping amazing. Basically.... he is telepathic. How else can he ask someone to THINK of a card.... look at him.... and then he would tell the guy what card he was thinking of. He got it right time after time with random people off the street. Some of his other illusions were also incredible. He has to have the fastest hands on the planet. I dont know anything about what he is doing now, but his street magic stuff is just stunning. |

I didn't mind him as a street magician. He was pretty good, actually. But his last couple things have been pretty stupid. Hmmm, stand on a tower for a couple days and jump into a pile of boxes. Sweet. |

As this guy's supposed to be at the point he may start to hallucinate, some one dressed up as a big pink rabbit last night, went along to see blaine and started to pull action men out of a top hat! |
