That book report does not do what you say it does. It is merely editorial comment and opinion, not backed by any facts at all, just other opinions.
Plain and simple. Why don't you post some of Franken's comments verbatim and we'll debate them.
As to the war issue, it's "no democrat has ever led this country to war", led...not finished, Art, but started one. There's a difference here.....you are turning it it around to suit your semantics.
At least it's OK for Democratic president's to lie under oath however.

I've read her book, and found some of her claims outrageous: 1. No democrat lead this country to a successful conclusion in war (she apparently forgot about Truman, and Roosevelt), etc.
Give me a break, she's an outrageous liar, and is willing to say literally anything. Franken shows that she's even lied about her age. Check it out.

she's a bit extreme for me. i like less caustic discourse. don't know whether she fabricates, but then again we don't really know how much other authors fabricate either.

I'd rather save my money for an NRA membership than buy the book. I'm sure my library will have it soon.
Why don't you use your best "legalese" and post some of it here so we can assess it and debunk it for what it's worth.
Like I said before.....all of a sudden she's this bad ???

Art - Have you read her books, or only Franken's? I think it's a crime that you are using the words of a comedian to deflower the right. Regardless, your partisanship shines like a beacon: whatever the right says is a lie, and whatever the left says is gospel.

Art, you mean as opposed to the radical left who use emotion and fear in their arguments and can't stand up when they are actually challanged by facts? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a good read (be it from the left or right). I respect your opinion. Lord knows, I would've hated her book when I was in college! But, I'm getting older too. |

She's great.....Michelle Malkin isn't too bad either.....or Sean Hannity or Rush.
Too bad that the left can only rehabilitate a comedian to speak for them........and since it's been 7-8 years since she's been speaking on TV and in columns as well, it kind of makes you wonder about their hair splitting motives "today". If anything from them about her was credible, it would have come out when she started making fools of them years ago.....but since the tide is turning the shrill whining increases.
All this from people whose hero was impeached...what for ??? You guessed it.

She doesn't tell the truth, and her books "Treason" and "Slander" are chock full of mistatements, lies, and other frabrications. For proof of same, with photocopies of actual statements, newspaper articles, etc. which prove her falsity, take a look at Franken's book Lairs. After you've read his first chapter devoted to her, looked at the actual newspaper articles, photocopies, etc. tell me again how honest she is. I think her nose is still growing.
The problem with the radical right is that for the most part, they don't check their facts. An example of this mindless behavior is the "Clinton Chronicles" which someone on this chat exposed with FACTS as being totally frabricated, but that apparently didn't make any headway with the ideolgues, who keep repeated those lies, apparently in the hopes that someone will believe them.
Colter is one reason why we are were we are today.

Ditto. Read her book "Slander" where she takes apart the NY Times fact by fact. The lefties truly hate her because she speeks the truth plainly without spin. Finally the right has a counter to Beglia, lannie davis, Rom Emmanual etc and all those Clinton venom mouths. |
