You can find them at B&N or Borders. They explain every question you might have in a very simple manor. Great if you are secular, but your kids have questions. | ||

The basic questions are the hardest ones to answer. I spoke to a well trained rabbi. The Jewish calender did not start with a specific event, but probably at the beginning of recorded history. The latter was based on the use of clay writing, which originated from the same place as Abraham (i.e. Aram, which is the modern day Iraq). Abraham lived around 3500 BC, so the "calender" preceded him by a few hundred years. I'm sure there are other interpretations as well. | ||

Hmm Ralph, sounds like my mother. What's worse was my grandmother's food. On the other hand when we had people over when I was young, I would always cook Italian.
