i had an acquaintance who was a zen buddhist. he achieved enlightenment after a long while and i asked him what it was like.

he simply responded "it's kinda stupid. but that's part of it."

i never really understood whether achieving enlightenment was really worth the effort!

doody.

The last place to find Inner Peace or Benevolent Forgiveness is in the Off Topic Section of F-Chat.

But I do believe I'll have that drink....

By following this simple advice, I have finally found Inner Peace:
"The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started."

So, I looked around the house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished...and before coming to work this morning I have finished off a bottle of Bacardi, a bottle of red wine, a bottle of Jack Daniel's, my Xanax, my Prozac and a small box of chocolates, and a pizza. You have no idea how good I feel right how. In fact... neither do I.
