audi nuvolari - do a search online i'm sure you can find a bunch out about it

heres one link

http://www.edmunds.com/news/autoshows/articles/92552/page003.html

audi is definitely on the up and up

whe i first got my A8 everyone was like why didn;t you just ger a bmw or mercedes- this was 2 years ago- now it defintely commands a little ore repsect-

anyone here own the new A8- that car is badass and in my opinion quite a bit nicer than the current s calss or 7 series

Does anyone know what the car in the middle between the pikes peak SUV and the Lemans Quattro is? It looks like a grown up TT, which i like.
There are also rumors of a new S8 in 2005.
I guess the Lemans quattro is the production version of the Audi RSR, which i think is better looking, at least from this one pic i saw.
1

edit- i zoomed in on a different pic of the 3 cars and the license plate appeared to read "nuvolari". a quick search gave alot of info about the car. http://www.audizine.com/news/articles/nuvolari_030403/#feature

Good thing, is that if the twin turbo V10 is reliable, there will be conversions for the Gallardo.

Wow Tim, that's the first I've seen of that Audi and I really like that as well! Audi has been very impressive and look to be moreso. Probably picking up a good deal of the Bimmer market thanks to Bangle.

Yup, it is allan. Based on the gallardo, but it's V10 has twin turbos. It makes more power than the Enzo, and costs significantly less than the porsche and the enzo. Why can audi make cars that have so much more power than a ferrari tht costs 3/4ths of a million $? Makes you wonder if all that $ you spend on fcars goes into making fast street cars, or lining the pockets of schumacher.

PS - Ronny, the rear tires looked two feet wide! OK, a little hyperbole, but they were huge!

A few of us were lucky enough to spot these prototypes driving around LA and Nevada a few months ago. I was right behind one at a stoplight for a couple minutes and it was pretty impressive, especially when I heard it launch off the line right in front of me!

Looks great, although a bit like a beefed up Lotus Elise. The wheels look enormous as the car sits so low.

Apparently top speed is "only 205mph" due to increased downforce. BHP is 612, great licence plate!

Not the nicest Porsche I've ever seen, but I'd swap my 2000 996 in a flash !

I like the details of the car I've seen in other pictures but the overall car doesn't quite do it for me from certain angles.

It looks a little weird with such deeply scalloped doors with openings on both the hinge end and the clasp end. The bird's eye view of the car is great. The back is cool until that funky spoiler is raised, then it looks a bit silly. Front is understated as usual. Overall not my favorite Porsche by any stretch, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers...

Cheers

William - you think the S7 is the best LOOKING of them? That is a surprise. The S7 is behind the Enzo and this to me (although I do not find anything attractive in this porsche at all)

go to a mobile home and purchase a huge TV.

I suppose it might be difficult to arrange the
contract that way. Where is Art and WM Hart ?
Can it be done ? Perhaps the book could be used
in lieu of the title ?

LOL.

I love all these supercars.
I say keep em coming !

I hope VW makes one for the
bluecollar worker soon.

On the P-car:

Salesman sent me a book
on the C/GT.

Said he would charge me
for the book and give me
the car for free.

Gus, that's 'cause you're not looking at it, right... Jim Spiro drove his F50 everyday and now, weather permitting (since there's no top), he drives his Ferrari 330 TRI/LM (Serial #: 0808) to work, daily... That's passion.

DES,
I've always been a diehard 911 guy because I love their character. I'm not too fond of the 996 and this car, although very cool, is not my cup of tea. It's just another outrageous supercar. One of the things that I loved about my 911 Carreras was that I could drive them everyday like a normal car and they still entertained me. This doesn't look like a daily driver to me. :-)

i love the new Porsche; i can't wait to see it in person... The Carrera GT is the only Porsche The Bird likes, too (so it must be good, right...?:-))

Instantly among my all time favorite Porsches, this goes right up there with the 962 and the 917... Where's Augustine in this thread...?
