Currently I am paying about $1200/year for my wife's 1994 Acura Integra. When I get my Mini Cooper S I will be paying about $1400/year and then $600/year for the Acura, so a total of $2000 for two cars. Something is definetly wrong. |

I'm 19 and paying $4700 a month with AllState for my 2003 Mercedes G500. I had a very minor accident in my old BMW X5 two years ago. When buying my car, my insurance carrier informed me that I would be paying ~$10,000 a year for full coverage if the policy had me as the primary driver. If my mother was the primary driver, that price would go down to ~$7,500. My dealer took car of insurance with AllState and now I only pay $4,700. Something is probably wrong in your situation. |

Wade, does she have a bad record...? $4300 a year sounds like an assigned risk rate- i was paying $4800/year for a '94 Saturn SL... i understand the Ion is new and she's probably seeking full coverage, but that's still really high... Insurance is different from state to state, so being in NY, there's not much i could do to help you out, but that definitely sounds way too high, regardless of location... |

I questioned that as well, but their answer was, ya know the goverment makes it so that you can sue for anything, and we don't want to loose money. Wade |

$4300 a year for a Saturn? Insane. Sure that is not a mistake on their part? |

Does anyone know of an alternative to auto insurance for a 20 year old girl. I called State Farm and they want $359 a month for a 2004 Saturn ION un f***ing real. That's more than her car note Wade |
