DON'T DO IT, JASON!

http://www.modelripoffs.com/reports/report.cfm?reportId=5

I have been dealing with at least 75 Acting and Modeling Talent Agents, Managers on a daily basis for 7 years. I manage the 2nd largest delivery service in L.A. which puts their photos, resumes, tapes, contracts and so forth in the hands of Casting Directors, and scripts here, there and everywhere.

I have seen numerous "agencies/management companies" get shut down in those 7 years. I knew this was a scam the moment I saw it. It is not you or your wife's fault - the perpetrators of this and similar scams are very, very seasoned and polished at what they do.

Don't want to sound rude. I give away over 6 figures a year to many organizations, educational and religious. I get heaps of trash form everyone looking for handouts. I suppose I just get tired of it. Sorry.

Guys! Jason has been on F Chat for quite a while and has given discounts to F Chat members who have bought car parts from him.

He's just asking for some help, no big deal.

Jason all my donations and charity time go to fight lung cancer (of which my mother died).

Good Luck though!

Regards,

I told my wife that I would help her out trying to raise money for her career. She has been trying to get into acting for a while and she has just been given a great opportunity. She competed last weekend for entry to the International Modeling and Talent Association. This competition which is being held this January in Los Angeles is a huge opportunity for her. The people who gain access to IMTA are able to show their stuff to over 600 producers, directors and other modeling and talent big wigs from the US, Europe and Japan. She needs $6500 to attend this competition, which goes to her traveling expenses, wardrobe, and to cater to the 600 modeling and talent personal that are taking time out of their lives to take a look at this years best of the best. My wife currently has two commercials on TV, has already made trips to LA to meet agents and has an interview with the Vice President of Paramount Pictures. Actors such as Aston Kutcher, Katie Holmes, and Elihja Woods were all discovered at an IMTA convention. For those of you interested in seeing her you can go to her website at www.AmbitiousActress.com. The following is a letter that IMTA wrote for her to help her raise money.

International Modeling & Talent Associations
2004 Los Angeles Convention

Sponsor Letter

Dear Potential Sponsor,

Let me introduce Miriah Godsil, who is a student at John Robert Powers and is very interested in pursuing a career in modeling/acting.

This is an opportunity for you to help sponsor an actor or model to compete at the International Modeling and Talent Association, at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, January 5-10, 2004.

The talent who participates in the competitions is seen by major modeling and talent agencies located in the USA, Europe and Japan. The discovery of many new faces will take place at the Los Angeles convention. Many models and talent you see in magazines and on television received their start at the International Modeling and Talent Association convention.

Sponsors who donate $100 or more will be listed in the IMTA Program Book. This Program Book is presented to all agents and other prestigious guests attending the convention.

Please make checks payable to John Robert Powers for IMTA in care of sponsoree.

Thank you for your interest and your assistance.

Sincerely,

Annavon Romano
IMTA Director

Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you would like to donate to help out Miriah you can also Paypal the money to [email protected]. Thank you again.
