Rob, the grass is always greener on the other side... (or in this case, the DESert sand is always more appealing than the frozen NY grass...:-))

John the snow didn't accumulate as the ground is still warm. The Ferrari festival should be fine. The foliage isn't coming along very well it still hasn't peaked. As far as snow I love it I've got 2 ski's powered by a 100 horsepower Yamaha engine to help keep the cabin fever away!

LOL, Mark, those are sick...!

Rob, i loved the heat out in Vegas, in July... 116 degrees at 7PM - it was a dry heat... Come spend a summer in NY with 90-100% humidity when it's 90 degrees out and you'll be begging to go back to your dry, DESert heat... i'd give a teste to have the weather you have, year round...

Snow is the best. I love the cold weather and love to be in. It is refreshing to breathe and to enjoy. Snow is fun as well seeing that you can do all types of activities in it.

Peter S;

Rain also brings moisture to the soil making it a blast to ride on tacky loamy soil on my dirt bike. Here the dirt id so hard with a layer of talcum powder dust on top of it when it does rain it becomes slick and no fun to ride at all.

Snow on the other hand allows myself hours upon hours of surfing the endless white wave "Snowboarding"

No rain, No snow makes Beast a grumpy fat boy..

Todd;

If the school that i work for built a campus in the snow belt i would be the first to apply for a transfer. I personaly hate the "nice weather" we have out here all of the time. Personaly i feel it is more stressful to the body here in the summer when you are outside it is 115 degrees then you walk into a store and they have the AC set at 68. For myself it causes digestive problems and the alergies out here drive me ape S%!@ most of the time. On top of that i have yet to find a doctor that want to try and help. They just tell me "Live with it".

Rob,

waaaaaaaaa boohooo

So hard living in the the nice dry heat w/ consistant temperatures. I dont think the human body is designed for 30 degree temeprature changes in 24 hours. Snow is nice to visit...If you have the option to leave..Am I bitter?? yes, in my mood and body...

Hey sometimes i envy you guys in the snow belt!!!! When i was in Indy last weekend and it was 55 and raining i was in heaven!!!! Like i told Ricky A at the track i would kill for 4 months of rain and 4 months of snow sometimes. Hell i had to drive 800 miles one way last chrismas to go snowboarding. And will most likely have to do it again this year since the snow sucks here in AZ.

Robert

Isn't the FCA's Vermont Ferrari Festival this weekend? I wonder how those cars will do if there is any accumulation!

Got down to 35 last night in CT, but in the 60's during the day. Forecast for not so cold at night and still cool in the days. I'm hoping for a winter like 2 years ago when I could drive the Ferrari weekly throughout the winter. Not so good for skiing though.

Gus,

I'm already back :-( I was just in town from Monday night until Wednesday afternoon doing a disaster recovery test for work. I was in MAHWAH NJ which I think was right on the border of NY & NJ. Next time I'm in town I will look you guys up for sure. This trip was a quick one. I have already told my wife that we need to go east for a week or so to see the sites and visit you guys. I talked to Bruce while I was there and as always he had me busting a gut listening to the Hucklebuck!

Winters are healthy! It's been scientifically proven that living in year-round heat makes people all crazy-like.

We had our first snow of the season today here in my part of the world. It actually came down pretty good this afternoon. Time to break the winter jackets out!
