Jaime, My guess is that no such factory training exists in North America (except to employees of a FNA dealership). FNA has the exclusive rights to Ferrari service here and they have no incentive to offer training to independants. I know my mechanic (independant) takes an annual trip to Ferrari Spa in Italy each year (he's there right now), but this is at his own expense, of course. This is a one or two week "refresher" rather than a complete program. |

Jaime, i'm under the impression that in order to be certified, you need to go to the factory, although i think there might be some in-state certification somewhere in the country... ...but um... this is really ON-topic; you should repost in General Discussion for a broader scope of views/replies... |

Greeting and hows everyone doing? While being here on FC Ive learned that Fcars arent as hard as they come off to repair. I was wondering if any of you knew what it took to become a certified Fcar technician? Do you have to travel overseas to the factory? I know Porshce has many certification programs around the nation, but Ive never seen a Ferrari one. |
