Mike, thanks so much for the offer. I will call you when I arrive in Boston.

I definitely hope I can make it, because I need to watch that race!

Ernesto,

I got your PM but for some reason I can't reply... I was trying to send to the "@caribe" email address but I got an error.

The best place to reach me is at work - the number is 978-689-8092. I usually work afternoons/nights, so I'm usually there from about 1pm-10pm or so, although I won't be there until about 5pm today.

You are welcome to stop by to watch the race and bring your GF if she's interested. I will be at his house all day Sunday, so in the evening we'll probably grab something to eat and settle down to watch the race - and if you want to drop by you're more than welcome. He is right off I-495, probably a 35-40 minute drive from downtown Boston at that time of night.

Perhaps you can find out who in Boston (or anywhere ET) is showing the race via Speed's Forum.

Ernesto,

Did you score a place to watch it yet?

I was just giving Doody a hard time. You are MORE than welcome to come to my brothers house. I will be going there to watch it. 60" TV and no wives or girlfriends to bother us. He lives in Haverhill, which is maybe 30-40 minutes from Boston, but you are welcome to join us if you please.

Just beware, we may be rooting for McLaren more than Ferrari :-)

If you are interested, shoot me an email and I'll give you directions and my #

I'm not really set up for guests, here at hermit central, but I have one unused chair -- out by the outer belt ... if you can't do any better downtown.

hmmmm - i think we're gonna have to pass on the blow up sheep idea ;-)

the boss would not appreciate an F1 party at 01:00 on a sunday morning. never mind that the 9 month old would probably decide to wake up and scream through the whole race :-)

sorry!

ernesto - i'd call around to hotels you're looking at and just ask if they have speed tv. some of the smaller hotels might just dump a stock cable feed or stock satellite feed to the rooms instead of some big engineered broadcast setup like the big hotels. just a thought.

i'm unaware of any internet feed for the races. bernie's way behind the times. i'd be happy to pay for a subscription to get decent coverage (i don't like speed tv's coverage) via sat or cable. ditto even a decent internet feed might be preferable.

doody!

Just show up at Doody's house with a case of coors and a rubber blow up sheep. I guarantee you that entry will be granted.

If you want to be left alone to watch the race - bring two sheep.

if the race is on at 1 nothing is open- latest stuff closes is at 2
F1 boston- actually is somewhat of a dance club on saturday night - but they shut down by 1

i doubt the hotel gets speedvision as well-you never know though- some places speedvision is part of basic cable - call and ask the hotel
its a premium service at my parents house - i ordered it last time i visited cause i couldn;t handle missing the gp

best bet is to find a friend or maybe a empathetic soul off of f-chat that would watch it with you
if i still lived in beantown i'd let you watch at my place- but i have moved to vegas

i wonder if you can watch it streaming on the net- you can watch baseball streaming live on mlb.com

i miss the days when fox use to broadcast it-

anyways - wish i could help ernesto- i feel your pain

Come on guys! There has to be a place to watch the race. I will be driving up from NYC on Friday and returning Sunday morning (after the race). I doubt the hotel will have SpeedTV.

PS. The Supra is long gone! Sold in January to a person in Orlando.

if it starts at 1 no way you can watch it

his only bet doody would be to go to your house and watch it with your family

maybe you could put him up in a guest house - kato kaelin style- and he could watch it in there

hes gotta 360 and a suped a supra - how bad a guy can ernesto be

just thinking out loud

if it starts at 1 that means its on at 10 here in lv sat night- sweet

are you sure they'll run it that late at F1 david?

they can't serve drinks that late - it'd be purely a labor of love exercise for them!
