Holy crap! I saw the crash last night on the news. Is Kenny Brack OK? I heard he had to be operated on or something. The tub was spinning like a yo yo after losing all of the wheels/nose/wings etc.

Different series. That was CART. CART pulled out of TMS 1 hour before the race the last time they were here. I think that was actually 2 years ago. You can't blame the track, though, because TMS management warned CART months earlier that they might have to change their settings, and CART had evidence during practice and testing that their package needed adjustment. My feelings on the CART thing is that the drivers don't have to keep their foot on the floor. They are professionals, let them make the call. TMS is turning into a really nice track at which to watch racing. The second groove is finally in place for the NASCAR series and IRL can run 3 wide when they want to. I am concerned about this crash, because that could have happened on the front stretch and given the crowd a more personal view of a racecar than they were expecting... |

I just saw it for the first time on Sports Center replay. Oh my gosh! I don't think most in the stands really knew what was going on because that's the back side of the track where there isn't any seating for the IRL race. I even had a head set on with the radio channel. They only said "the car is destroyed and we don't know where Brack ended up." |

Looked nasty on Sports highlights. Lucky to be alive. Net servers with the video are currently overloaded.

I was high up in turn one, but I didn't see the wreck. I don't know if I could of or not, I just happened not to be looking in turn 3 at the time. I couldn't even see the torn fencing where I was at. |

IRL needs to figure out why there cars get airborne without much effort. They have been having way to many airbore incidents this year.. At least the tubs are strong enough for the task. Rob Guess "The Other Rob" |

Yep, saw it live. I was on row three at the start/finish line Just a flash and the car disappeared. The radio announcers couldn't find the car and for a while everyone thought the tub had cleared the fence and was in or below the stands. It was very good news to hear he was awake. There were bad vibes in the air until that announcement. |

Did you guys see this crash. Just saw it on SPEED NEWS. The car went air-born and then spun and took out safety fence. Lost all four wheels and engine, parts every where. Driver was okay (broken bones or fractures but awake and talking) Only the tub was left, there was no reconizable car left. |
