Rob, Maybe Jeffery Wolfe has also decided to "defect" to that site. I know he and JRV chased each other all over the threads on this site to take shots at each other. Jeff did at least give me some info I needed, even though he was labeled here as as an anti-semetic, racist pig, and by his position "hated to see what what happening" to "his country", even though he was apparently born in Scotland. I know this may seem a bit obscure to new members on the forum, but I think those two have many entries on the hall of shame and flame, or whatever it is. I have always found this site helpful. The members here are very knowledgeable about F-cars and just about anything else you can imagine. I have never been disappointed with anything I have purchased from any sponsor of this site, or anything I have purchased from another member. I admit I have tried the link to "F-Talk" (Hi, My name is Mike and I've tried Ferrari-Talk) but so far have found that JRV seems to make sure he has the last word on any thread. I think I'll stick to this site where Rob lets "Freedom of Speech" reign. By the way, I have yet to earn the coveted Ass-Clown Award." | ||

I find this turn of events so very ironic! I followed the link below to Ferrari-Talk.cum and saw the message from JRV, as follows: ""The other board is a hostile way way over the top hard core group of talking heads with delusions of self importance. There is some truth to this! 2002 & early 2003 I was a newbie who was starting to post on FerrariChat.com and was enjoying it & getting a lot out of it. I then encountered Mr. JRV who demonstrated exactly what he is now admonishing above. So with that and a other childish things that were going on at that time in FChat (by JRV and similar others), I decided to drop-out. I've been out for over half a year. I do regret this as FChat is basically a wonderful place. I'm not really that thin-skinned but I have to put up with enough of this type of BS at work so why submit to even more? OK - I'm really the loser here, but that none-the-less is what happened. I suspect that there are 100's of other enthusiastic and talented FChat members who don't contribute for much the same reasons. I will try not to be one of them any longer :-) The point here is the hypocracy being spewed from Ferrari-Talk.cum. JRV - I would be proud to be banned from your world! | ||

The fact that he has claimed to have talked to "his lawyer" is probably a good indication that he has not. I find that people without legal representation often threaten to send their lawyer because they think it will scare you. Doubtful that JRV is willing to pay for the billable time for this issue. Plus, there are some potential copyright problems with F-Talk that I doubt the other side wants to address. | ||

I just sent this email to JRV, I think it pretty much sums things up. 1) I never got out of line on F-T, he was upset because I was there posting and his users were talking about FC. 2) It's not illegal for me to post on his site as long as it's public. He needs better security. 3) I'm banned from his site at work and I haven't been there all day. I have no idea except what was copied here and what has been posted or from whom. Just FYI, here's instructions how to change your IP... http://www.astalavista.com/library/basics/guides/cipa.html Most ISP's assign IP's dynamic, so you just have to logout and login again. Small chance you might get the same IP and have to cycle again. You can always see your IP by going to Start - Run - "command" and then typing "ipconfig" at the Command prompt. Also, with this software you can set it so for banned users, once they login, their IP will be added to the IP block list. Once your banned, don't login with your account anymore, just login as a guest or create a new free email at places like hotmail for a new account. | ||

Rob, I am sorry my posts several weeks ago were sort of uncivil. But I think youll agree that I called it perfectly. I had the little cucarachs's number from his first brittle, hostile, bullying post. And now he continues to forcefully show everyone taller than he is (and that means literally everyone) what sort of person he really is. Sad. Unhappy. Bipolar. Violent. Psychotic. Insecure. Sexually confused and inadequate. Hostile to a fault. Totally predictable. And probably dangerous. I wasn't on his side, I was just trying to keep the discussion civil. Well, first of all, he can't ban me, because all he can do is block IP's and I can change my IP all day long. He's already banned about 5 of my IP's. Funny thing is that my last few posts he just put his own name in and wrote what he wanted. None of my posts were attacks or out of line, maybe my 3rd post down was the worse and the next post after that was a good one. Here's some of the posts that got banned yesterday... 1) A technical question asking that board for best points to jack up a 355. 2) Welcome message to Allan after he posted there and I asked if we could have a beer together. 3) Good luck message on L-T for their R.O.B. this weekend. Telling them to take plenty pictures and I hope the weather holds out. 4) Picture and write up of a beautiful 250 LM I saw. I'm going to post more "quality" threads this weekend and in the coming months various times of the day. The poor guy is already crazy, think what he'll be like in a few months after not being able to sleep so he can delete my posts. Seriously though I'm at a crossroads deciding whether to ignore him or spread all the information that has been provided to me why you shouldn't associate or do business with this troll. I'm leaning towards being hands off as usual and let people learn on their own. If others want to come forward, that's fine with me, this is a public forum where you're mostly free to post what you want.
