I frequently get asked to "sponsor" sites, ranging from paying money to giving away free product. Anyone in business gets it every month just like I do. Anyone who approaches me about "sponsorship" best have their pitch well thought out, because nobody in this world gives away something for nothing. The average pitch I get is "Gee we have 80 billion gazillion hits a month and if you pay us $X you will get so much business it will make your head spin! You would be crazy not to do it!" or "We will put your sticker on our car and so many people know us that you will get tons of business from it!". They just don't "get it". You will need to tell your potential sponsors *exactly* what they will be getting for their money, whether it's eyeballs hit, or how many impressions will be made, or at the very least how much exposure they will realistically get and exactly who your market is. |

Dave, what kind of a website is it...? Try thinking about what kind of a business you'd be in that sponsoring your website would seem appealing - then go trolling for people that fit the DEScription you've come up with... |

How does one go about finding some one to sponser a web site? nothing special just a low cost web page. |
