Our local dealer states those pressures also. Recently I rode in an 03' TT X50 to K.C., Mo. and drove a 355 Spider back. The 355 was by far the best ride quality. I did like the exhaust note on the X50. A little deeper than the standard TT. |

Do a search on the Rennlist. There was a huge debate in one recent thread (2 or so months ago if memory serves) about over vs. underinflating for the track. For the street, i run the GT-2 tires (pilot sports, they are ok) a pound or two below recommended pressures. But the car is not softly sprung to begin with. |

what are y'all running at for DD purposes? just got my car last week and i filled them to recommended pressures (cold, 35 front, 44 rear, iirc) and damn the car became a rough ride (and i usually like the jarring and bumping!). wonder why/how rec tire pressures can be so dramatically different on such similar sized tires? i think the 360 stock rears are 285/40/18 or something similar to the tt but pressure is rec in the book somewhere near 30psi. thoughts??? thanks! |
