Kiton is beautiful, no doubt. I was going through their fabric samlpes at Wilkes & Bashford a few days back looknig for a dark grey Nailhead (l'oeil d'oiseau) and theirs was stunning. As for Campagna vs. Caraceni: honestly I don't know. I know Caraceni is the name of the man who taught Campagna, so my assumption was that he bought the name for himself. --Dan |

dan, i was aware of that but "Gianni Campagna" is the top of the line, no? i think the gianni campagna suits are actually cut and measured by him while the Caraceni are made by other tailers... i'm actually am a bigger fan of kiton. |

Ricky, You know Campagna bought the Caraceni name and is marketing under that, right? Another great maker is Anderson & Sheppard. They were recently doing fittings in the US, although they must have gone back by now. --Dan |

BTW, what have you done to your 355's paint in terms of wax/polish? It looks very nice, hard to explain why, but it just looks like the paint is exceptionally rich and shiny, what do you wax with? |

I have a bunch of suits, from Hugo Boss up to bespoke and I don't know why you'd call it , they're actually fairly nice cut, nice materials etc. |

zegna soft, mani, canali proposta, are all the same ...all off the rack usually... Armani, even the black label is mass produced....zegna (even the napoli) off the shelve is mass produced as is canali. Zegna Napoli "su misura" is good stuff but at the very top are Kiton and and Gianni Campagna, both of which are hand made. |

Does anyone know anything about this line? I realize I have one of these, bought it at a department store in Montreal one time and the salesman told me it was Armani and it was cheap (for Armani) so I bought it and its a very nice suit, nice cut, nice material, but not quite a Giorgio Armani. What can you tell me about the Mani line? They seem to be a good value. |
