2cool,

I just so happen to sell Dodge Trucks. Not that I'm biased (:-))but the Ram 3500 diesel is the best One Ton Truck that I have driven. Please do not buy a FORD(Found On Road Dead) because I get nothing but complaints about them. Let me know what info you need and I will be more than happy to assist you!
Regards,
Jeremiah Burke

P.S.
Where are you located?

Off-topic of 1 ton trucks, but my dad just got a Ford F250 Supercab Superduty 4x4 7.3 turbo diesel. The thing is a beast...anyone know of a decent Ford diesel truck message board? Thanks.

I have an '03 Duramax that I have had for 3.5 months and it has 60K miles on it. No problems whatsover other than a small oil leak that the dealer took care of even though it was out of warranty. We looked at the Dodge and Ford prior to the Chevy strictly due to their reputation, but the Chevy beat em all hands down in every aspect. Comfort, gas mileage, GVWR capacity, styling, and best of all price. The Dodge would have been a little cheaper, but the Chevy still takes the cake.

Vince....do you have the gas or diesel? I plan on heavy construction type hauling..I could do most of the work with a 3/4 ton..but the occassion of having to haul something of significance and the minor additional costs make the 1 ton more ideal. As for the 550 thought,,,I saw a couple...what do you Darth use it for and I would imagine it is a diesel.

BoBo,

I've had all of them, and the Dodge pulls the best. I currently have a 2001 Dodge with 120k, it does a lot of work. Very strong truck.

I am not sure how the interiors compare anymore, I haven't looked at the new ones. But I have been very happy with the Dodge. The Ford I had was also pretty good.

What do you plan on doing with it?

Vincent.
