I saw on speed chann. a while ago some clips of the bike in action. It is pretty neat as you don't think it would be comfortable or smart to be seating like that when in fact they say it is better in every way. Awesome looking. Erik | ||

Yes, you can see over the handle bars. The best way I can say this is you are part of the bike. You are not sitting on top of it but in it. Monday, I am going to his office and try and test drive this thing. This could be a great idea about motorcycles. I will get back to you about this. | ||

I just found that pic from Crystal Cove on another forum and I don't know anything about the bikes. I can't really figure out how you would ride the thing, do you sit way down low? Seems like you couldn't really see over the handlebars. | ||

Today I saw a funny looking motorcycle. At the Crystal cove car gathering, I watched as a motorcycle drove into the parking lot and it parked near me. It had an air induction tube in the front which ran to the engine. As it parked I noticed the seat was like a recumbent bicycle. It looked very strange. I went up to it and asked questions as the rider removed his protective coating. After the man asked if I would like to seat on his strange machine a gentleman came up to me and asked �Do you know who you are speaking to?� �No, just some guy who is riding a weird bike.� I said. The gentleman said he is Dan Gurney. Dan Gurney is a good driver of many cars and has built many fast things. He has won many major races. Finally the bike rider got off enough of his equipment that I could see his face. Wow, it was Dan Gurney. He was nice enough to shake my hand. Then he explained his bike. Very neat thing his Alligator. I have a M1 California license. If he thinks it is a good bike, I think I should buy one. |
