It's not racing too hard, it's racing too dumb. Don't race beyond your skills and experience. When I instruct, 95% of new students will go way too fast for parts of the track. Funny thing is that going way too fast puts you and your car at risk, while also putting about 5-20 seconds a lap slower than what I will pull in your car with a smooth lap. |
