The news I've heard is that Alfa is planning on a new model, based on the GM international "Epsilon" FWD platform (same as the new Saab). They're planning to market it in the US through GM dealers. Which, to me, indicates that Fiat didn't learn a durned thing from the '70s Buick/Fiat fiasco. (Conan the wrench and aluminum parts don't mix.) Besides, to a purist, FWD isn't a "real" Alfa. |

Tyson, unclear as to whether you are saying it's coming to the US or not? Does the Auto Week article say that Alfa will make its US debut with this car in 2006? Thanks! |

Faisal, I'm pretty sure I read in the Auto Week 2006 debut with this car. I will try to verify. |

Anyone know if Alfa's planning to ever come back to the US? I think this concept car is simply gorgeous-- although the rear end could use some work... Thoughts?
