James what have people in NASA been saying about the Chinese space program ? What about the politicians ? The Chinese have stated very ambitious goals about starting bases on the Moon. That could be big trouble for everybody else

William, I doubt any of them have a clue whatsoever. You could say the last president to even show a minimal amount of passion was Reagan. As a NASA employee, I've found the lack of conviction from candidates and presidents to be both a curse (lack of direction or strong support and increased budgets) and blessing (the executive branch pretty much stays out of our business and we're pretty much immune from changes in administrations).

Which Pres candidate has the best ideas for space exploration ? Thats near the top of my list for choosing a candidate

Taxes & Energy policies & education are my most important issues
