1 hour left to race.

Audi still 1-2 overall with the #1-2 respectively.

Bentley is in 3rd, with the Chrystler a little back in 4th.

Corvette #63 leading GTS by a long ways.

A 911 leading GT.

Still very wet. The best race may be watching the two Audis fight each other for the win.

Apx. 9 hours left to race.

I had a friend call me at the last second to do a car show. It was fun, mostly classic muscle cars, but there was a 348. I just got home and it looks like the Audi #1 is still in the lead and then the #63 Corvette is still leading GTS. There is now daylight and no rain.

Apx. 16 hours left to race.

Audis 1-2 overall, Corvettes leading GTS, and a 911 leading GT. It's still raining fairly hard.

Apx. 20 hours left to race.

I just took a little nap, but it's now raining and they have a full course yellow. Almost everone pitted. It looks like the Audis have 3 of the top 4 positions. The other is still the Bentley.

The Vette still looks to be doing well. Scott Pruett just took over for the #63. It's fariley dark also.

Apx. 22 hours left to race.

I missed the first hour because a friend talked me into racing a 5k this morning, but I'm back and around for the rest of the race.

The #1 Audi just passed the #7 Bentley that had the lead for awhile after the Audi pitted. The Audi is running about 5-10 seconds a lap faster than the Bentley, but the Bentley is still doing very well. Suprisingly, the #11 Panoz is in third place, these new Panoz cars ran well at Texas, but have sucked since then and qualified bad for the race. Also, one of the MG's is in 4th overall and it's in the slower LMP675 class. These cars however are running laps as fast as any cars out there. We'll see how reliable they are.

Not much news yet on other classes, Vettes seem to be doing OK, some Vipers have already crashed out, and I haven't seen the Saleen Mustangs yet.

Yes, I'll be doing another Daytona 24 hours on this board, I probably watched 18 hours of Daytona on Speedvision and gave hourly updates. No Ferraris in Le Mans this year :(, but it will still be a great race. BTW, it's on Speedvision from 9am CST Saturday until 10am CST Sunday.

After the second qualifying session on Wednesday the Audis look to be in charge again, with the top 3 spots and the others close behind. The factory efforts are the fastest, but other R8's are just a few seconds behind. Johnny Herbert will be in the No. 3 Audi that is qualified 3rd at this point.

Chrystler and Bentley both have cars towards the top, the Cadillacs don't seem to be catching on yet. MG has a great car in LMP675. Saleen and Corvette are probably going to have the best race at Le Mans with only half a second seperating their qualifying times. Go USA in GTS!!!

A Callaway Vette also leads LM-GT, in front of many of those persistent 911's.

This is going to be awesome. Stay tuned here for live updates.
