Bart, actually I skipped the race itself this year. I have been going to GPs over the last 20 years and am more focusing on getting pictures, which is easier during the trial days than at race day. Anyway, you're quite right, the sounds and smells of 22 cars departing at max revs is awesome. Have seen it in Indy the previous years. Of course Indy is ideally suited for it with the echos reverberating off the stadium. Kinda like the streets of Monaco. European GP? Nice track. Been there only once for a historic 'race'. Saw an original Alfa-Ferrari lap that course. |

Great photo's Looks like you had some premium seats. Must have been great phun, being at the start or not ? I've been to the European GP twice, and the sound of just 1 car passing by is already enormous, so 22 cars starting all at once must have been bigger then enormous.

Finally got around to scan all my pictures from this year's Indy GP and thought it might be nice to post some of them as a tribute to our great team: |
