And Albers IS victorious!

In only his second race for the AMG factory team, Christijan Albers managed a victory at the Adria track!

I guess this makes him the fastest cabbie in the world now...

Yeah!

As final touch, God created the Dutch!

Jack, it sure is.

Although Albers isn't riding F1 (since they didn't want to spend money for a test-seat), it's not bad.
I think PH is a better DTM driver the CA, although he isn't in for a F1 (test)seat.
Well, we'll see what the season brings :-)

Would be great to see the DTM back on Zandvoort again. Races are so competitive and agresive, just great.

>>>And Christijan Albers as a test driver just makes the Dutch euphoria complete

Quote:
DTM stalwart Uwe Alzen has surprisingly split from the works HWA Mercedes team, just days before the first race of this year's championship

Christijan Albers will move over from the semi-works Rosberg team to fill Alzen's place at HWA. Mercedes has brought in Patrick Huismann to run for Rosberg at Hockenheim.

Unquote

A good day for Dutch racing I think...

Let's hope he doesn't ruin another race victory for Montoya this year.

What a pity.

I watch JV in New Zealand many years ago in Formula Pacifics and IMO no talent there, and I am still amazed that he reached F1. Fights the car way too much, thus loosing speed/time.

Atleast he is agressive, but mediocre talents in NZ blew him away, and he was continually loosing control. One NZ guy at the time used to be really, really exceptional but as always he needed a manager ... and now has resorted to saloon cars which just do not suit him and he has gone backwards.

Good on ya for supporting your country folk, but a Minardi is too much car for him IMO.

I've been following the F1 news intensivly for 2 weeks now and finally the big word has come out:
Jos Verstappen is going to drive for Minardi.

We all know that Minardi isn't the best (more the worst) team but DAMN it's just so great that after one year of absence, JV is back in business.

I think that Minardi can do better then last year (hopefully even get a better result than the Australian result last year, 5th) with the new Ford Cosworth engine.
Now with Jos they got the experience of an experienced formula 1 driver (7 years and the experience of getting a bad team up the grid like Simtek) and the young eagerness of Justin Wilson.

For me as a dutch guy it's just awesome to see Jos back on the track and this could mean another trip to the Nurburgring or Barcelona. And Christijan Albers as a test driver just makes the Dutch euphoria complete :-)

What do you guys think about a JV/JW/Minardi/Cosworth combination ??
Will the make a change to get off the last grid ??

PS. when you say (sp?) that means that you don't know if you spelled it right isn't it ??
