The Viper Racing League has a race scheduled for the 5-7th of September at Mid America Motorplex. The concept was to get other SuperCars to compete on the weekend ( spectator event ) and though there seems to be alot of interest in the Porsche circles, there isn't any door to door series in place for Corvette. There is alot of interest in seeing if some Ferrari Challenge Drivers would be interested in running on the weekend. The system is in place and the competition is always tight. There will be a purse , though small, for all groups. It is a three day event ( practice on Friday included in the entry fee ) with races on Sat. and Sunday. Initial thoughts are to run two Ferrari races, but if demand is high , there may be a shoot-out with the top 5 drivers in each group ( Porsche, Viper, and Ferrari ). The track is super safe , with abundant run-off, and virtually nothing to hit. Agricultural racing involves just running through acres of grass. The BIG plus is that all 2.23 miles of the track can be seen from the grandstands -- so it is a spectators treat. Give me a call if you have any info on who to proceed with,or if there is any interest?

Sincerely,
Bill Pemberton
