i like the drama of the one lap qualifying. It is a format that will separate the consistent drivers from the lucky ones. I thought Kimi did a great job of recovering when he went off and I think JPM was correct when he said that same thing will most likely happen to all of them some time during the season. |

Rubens had a debris flag on his hot lap and took a wider line to avoid Kimmi's car. If it weren't for that and if he had the same or less fuel as Michael, he would have been faster I believe. |

Michael can always pull it together when it counts! Things have been looking great for Rubens all weekend. Then Michael used Rubens' settings and did an amazing lap. Great team-work. I'm still rooting for Rubens though! |

Who cares, at least the race will look a bit more exciting. I am still rooting for Rubens, but man, with Schumacher in the zone right now, he is the man to beat tomorrow. |

MFZ, Im not so sure that Rubens was "outclassed" by MS. David Hobbs was saying how Rubens' car was carrying 5 kilos more fuel than MS. That weight difference may account for about .200 seconds difference in lap time. |

I'm not sure if RB was so outclassed, I don't think Kimmi's puttering around effected RB, but who know, that could of been 3/10ths. |

Michael Schumacher did almost the impossible and snatched pole. He is a god on that car (it's the old F2002 car too). Poor Kimmi, lost too much time trying to wrest pole and ended up almost smashing into the wall. Rubens was simply outclassed by his teammate, let's hope he has better luck in the race. Nice effort by Frentzen and Villeneuve too. Surprise 5th for Panis in the Toyota. I can't wait for the race tomorrow. |
