New Ferrari may be delayed after two crashes Luca Badoer taken to hospital [20/03/03 - 13:06] Luca Badoer the Italian team may have to delay the introduction of their new Ferrari after two crashes by test driver Luca Badoer during development of the new car. Ferrari have started the season with a modified version of last season's car but had hoped to introduce the new model by the San Marino GP, the fourth race of the season. This may now have to be delayed. Michael Schumacher said, �Obviously the two accidents didn't help our programme and to some degree may delay our programme.� Italian Luca Badoer is now recovering in Europe after being taken to hospital following the crash on 11th of March at Ferrari's test track. This accident was blamed on mechanical failure. He had previously crashed the car at Jerez in February. Badoer has been replaced by Felipe Massa as test driver for this weekend's race in Malaysia taken from f1.racing-live.com |
