andrew - when you come into the board through the search function (eg: "show me all the new stuff since i was last here") the results include the title fo the thread as well as the first line (or thereabouts) of the most recent post in the thread. so your post showed up as something like:
Malaysia Final results ...
1. 6 RAIKKONEN McLaren
it's an unfortunate "feature" in this board software. the majority of people don't come into the board that way, so they're not aware of this, hence my post.

The title of the thread should be enough to alert those who havent watched the race yet . If they see " _______ GP results " , then dont open the thread.. |

If/when you must post race results, please be careful to not spoil things for folks who maybe haven't had time to watch the race yet.
If you don't post results in the subject header, and don't post results in the first couple lines, then nobody should be able to accidentally learn anything about the race.
