I enjoyed all the support races but the 'main event' was a bit of a non-event. I really tried to enjoy it but I found myself counting down the laps. The only bit of action for the whole race was when Alex Yoong went off, and we've all seen that happen a hundred times before! I love Brands but I wouldn't go to another Champ Car race. The TGP cars there last year were great and they ran similar lap times. At least it was a sunny day! | ||

i was there. left a similar thread elsewhere. too bad we didn't know before. anyway, it was interesting. i thought it was a little ridiculous though not to be running on the full track with these cars. 37-39 second laps is a bit mickey mouse. it would be interesting to put champ cars on silverstone and see what happens ! | ||

I e-mailed my friend who is a photographer to see if she could give me a steer on the best way to get hold of Stefan. This is what she said: "Won't Johannsen be in Le Mans this w/e? Its pre qual over there." Hopefully he'll be at Brands on Monday. | ||
