Steve Matchett speculated, that they're supposed to cool the hydraulics.

I like the press, which already calls them sharks. Kinda reminiscent of 61.

Ken, I wondered the same thing about the vents. I wonder if the team site has any info about the car.

>>>I hope Byrne can keep the GA ahead.

I hope they will get close enough to see some interesting battles...

Where I almost fell asleep during Imola, this race kept me glued to the tube and it wasn't even THAT close yet.

One more thing.... Bridgestone really needs to get their R&D people in gear. I think they're falling behind.

I like the shaped lower front portion of the sidepods and the Williams-ish aerodynamics around the rear tires. I wonder what the shark-gill-looking vents on the right side were for. It's an interesting assymetrical design, at least.

..and I was impressed by the Renault's performance. I have a feeling they're gonna find their few more horses and it'll be a close Ferrari vs. Renault season. I hope Byrne can keep the GA ahead.

As hoped for, the new cars were the fastest this morning, and both cars are on the front grid. Lets pray that they as reliable as the 2002s.
