Ferrari used Shell back in the 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s as well. They switched to Agip around 1973 or 1974 or so. |

I believe Shell returned when Schumacher came onboard. Like you said, Agip was their oil for years. I'll never forget the hot little "Agip Girls" working the tent up in Montreal. They actually had quarts of oil for sale. Odd thing to pick up at a race... |

That is pretty amazing and possible as SF was founded in 1930. However it would have been rather an exception, for the most part Ferrari was sponsored by Agip. Only in 96 arrived Shell in the modern era. |

Read in a book last night Shell's first sponsorship for Scuderia Ferrari was in 1932, amount was 100,000 lire |
