Kevin,

You need to get a license from the Grand American Road Racing Series which sanctions the Challenge Series. I recieved mine at the beginning of the year though due to limited finances was not able to run my Challenge car this season.

You can get the license by taking an acredited racing school course (in my case it was a Skip Barber Three day school) such as SCCA, Skip Barber, Bondurant, J. Russell etc... If you already have an SCCA National or Regional license they will most likely grant you a Grand Am license.

Hope this helps!

I don't know for sure, but I'm sure you have to have a competition racing license from a major racing orgnaization like SCCA, NASA, PCA, or BMW CCA. You can get one from the SCCA through 2 all day schools and then you get your regional license after 2 races and your national license after another 2 races. A more expensive way is one of the driving schools like Skip Barber or Panoz, I believe a 5 day school automatically gets you your SCCA national license.

Aside from the modifications to the cars themselves, what are the requirements for participation in the ferrari challenge series? I understand the drivers must not have racing a primary source of income and other things like this, but can someone point me to the actual requirements for the drivers? thanks.
