After the race we strolled up and down the grid. Here the pole.
The official result as shown in the Galleria the next day.
How the newspapers covered the event.
...for Anthony.

Finally...
Airhorns and the Tifosi!
A sober ceremony, the fans were celebrating, the podium wasn't.

It's wierd that the F2002 already looks old fashioned! The F2003GA has to be the most beautiful F1 car of the last 15 years! I know what you mean about the Brazilian 'girls'. I got the blonde ones best side aswell! |

BTW: As usual I have the entire field, so let me know if you want a particular car/driver shown here as well. Since this is a F forum I left it at the F cars. |

Nice shots Anthony. I got those Brazilian girls later on as well. However I'm not totally sure the dark haired one really was a girl...I threw that picture away actually. Thanks everybody for the encouragement. It's not that I'm trying to fish for compliments (although they're always welcome), you can tell me if something sucks, just no reaction was a bit strange. After all I don't want to annoy people with taking away bandwidth (working in IT makes me sensitive to those issues). |

Here's some thatg I took. I probably took one picture to every 100 that Andreas took! This was on the campsite on Saturday night. I was stood talking to some friends when my daughters started shouting "Daddy! Ferraris!". They were right!
On the way into the track we found some Rubens Barrichello fans!
This is the Ayrton Senna memorial. It had a fence around it for the weekend, but some people had obviously climbed over it as there were fresh flowers and lit candles around the statue. Amazing to think that next year will be the 10th anniversary of his death.

Ivan Capelli (former F F1 driver) in the Porsche supercup.
Winner's ceremony for the Porsche cup.
Somehow I liked this year's Toyota press material.
Rubens on the truck that drove the pilots around for the parade. The Schumacher brothers did not participate in this. |

It looks bigger than it really is.
Vodafone had two such sims setup on the 'market plaza' behind the grand stands.
Part of any GP. Luckily.
One of the official safety cars that followed the racecars after the start. Interestingly they took a 348 for that and not e.g. a 360.
