Last year's F1.com was great. When it came out this year as the site of F1 magazine, the design was terrible. Hip, but text was too small and color contrast poor, etc. I emailed them to say just that. Now that they've gone to a more readable design, I am viewing their site again. It's just not as fun as it used to be (no glamour vote, for example) and doesn't get updated as much as the other sites like f1i.com or f1-live.com.

Yes the unoffical formula1.com was a lot better than the new model. I was expecting something out of this world since they spent so much time working on it during the off season. Atlasf1.com was very nice but now you have to pay to view so I don't view the site anymore. Mostly get my info from f1racing.net and planetf1.com.

http://www.f1racing.net/ is good. http://www.f1i.com is worth a look aswell.

Personally, my favourite is pitpass.com.

the old formula one site was great the new one sucks - as jack points out there was a legal battle but the private company won from what I heard after the the loss the FIA decided to purchase the company instead of contining to try to sue. The site was basically down the whole off season while they redesigned it

I like the Formula1.com site. I like the countdown timer but the images could stand to be a bit larger.
I also go to this site: http://www.f1racing.net/

Thanks Becker. Planet-F1 looks the most like F1.com, so this will be my new 'home'.

Bernie bought the Formula1.com and you can see the results, fancy but the contents is not as it used to be, the timing area is not too bad. There's also www.planet-f1.com which is not too bad and kinda follows the good old F1.com layout a little bit.

Cheers

I've been using www.f1-live.com for F1 news since I don't care for the new F1.com.

David, I use this one :
http://www.newsnow.co.uk/cgi/NewsNow/NewsNow.htm?Section=NewsLink&Theme=F1

It updates when there's news, from all sorts of sites. I used it a lot when waiting for the confirmation of Jos Verstappen's seat.

I agree with A & M....

It sux....

The old one was privately owned and this new design is "FIA" after a fierce legal battle over the domainnames...

I liked the old one much better!

I agree with andreas the old format was much better, worth visiting several times a week, the new format is only worth visiting once a race.

I totally hated the new design. But since a week this is a mood point as I don't get any page anymore.
:-(

Used to be my fav site. Right now I got none (don't like pitpass).
