I think last year was the first time i saw it. It is unbelievable. Sadly David Jefferies did lose his life this year. It has to be one of the most dangerous forms of racing i've seen.

I've watched it the past two years, but haven't seen it this year yet. I agree, it's about the most fun of any motorsports to watch. Those guys have more balls than even rally racers.

I have the old "V-4 Victory" video with Joey Dunlop's on-bike camera lap of the Isle of Man circuit at 110MPH average. It's a hoot!

I have't been watching it since J. Dunlop lost his life racing. How depressing.

But it is an absolutely fantastic spectacle.

Where have you been watching it? Is it on Speed?

I heard about a group of guys who go there every year. They have assembled a package whereby they crate their bikes and air freight them to England. They fly over and meet up with the bikes and ride to the TT. The fee (somewhere around $2,000 includes lodging at B&Bs, the bike shipping, insurance in England and a mechanic in a van who tags along. It doesn't include airfare for the riders. What a way to go. I would love to do this some day - maybe once my Norton Manx replica is done.

Race cars are fun to watch , but damn. 37 mile lap, going thru old villages, no run off area, cliff drops if you get it wrong, 150 mph both tires off the ground. This is true manly man racing. Remember, anybody can be brave in a cage. I have to go see this in person next year .
