Art, Didn't know. My apologies! Actually, I was going to bring up karting at our next breakfast. The LMK guys are very cool, much more so than most of the Speedring investors. Thanks to Faisal, I don't have 20 karts and suits myself, but that's another story! --Dan |

Dan: Why wasn't I invited? Seriously, I have an acquiance who has his own track, and occassionally, because he has an instructor that likes me, I get to run there. Please let me know the next time you are going. Art |

I had organized a group for a whole day of indoor karting (we did about 3 hours cumulative of actual karting...and I'm dead), and when we show up at 10.30am, we are surpsied to see Dorricott Racing's trailer out front. Well, turns out that Kyle Krisiloff, Jamie Thompson and Jon Fogarty were to join us for the day. We're all pretty quick around (any bay area kids: we were running best laps at 23.2x at Le Mans Karting), but these guys are SERIOUSLY quick, about 1/2 a second faster on a 300m track). It was a terribly humbling, but fantastic experience. To watch those guys drive was amazing. I mean, at their level of racing, which is certainly no Formula 3000, etc., they were smooth as liquid around the track. Just awesome. Of course there was quite a bit of 'friendly' bumping going on Just thought I'd share...now to pass out. --Dan |
