Ralf was referring to the recent press critisizing him as a bad driver for not overtaking Michael in Canada. Ernesto |

Did Juan really make that comment in the post race interview? Something about anyone, even bad drivers can win a F1 race. Hmm, they shook hands on the podium though. |

I LOVE MONTOYA! He should be in a Ferrari as quickly as possible! BTW, next week at Magny-Cours, he won't be allowed to drive on French public roads as he was convicted for the 204 KM/H speeding violation. He wasn't present at the "trial" but his lawyer handed over a note from JPM which read something like "I'll sincerely try to better my behaviour on French public roads, better still, I'll try to avoid them as much as I can". Should appeal to certain people on this forum that have made frequent posts about France in the OT section... ;-) Jack |

I would not like to be on the wrong end of some of these quite significant 1 sec+ qualifying spreads - could they be attributable to differing strategies, though? 1 RAIKKONEN McLaren Mercedes 1m31.523s 9 COULTHARD McLaren Mercedes 1m32.742s 12 BUTTON BAR Honda 1m33.395s 17 VILLENEUVE BAR Honda 1m34.596s 11 WEBBER Jaguar 1m33.066s 16 PIZZONIA Jaguar 1m34.159s

The Iceman is not as squeezable as brother Ralf. Michael should have learned that lesson in Melbourne this year. I wonder however whether Mc Laren was playing any games with small fuel loads to get the pole: Nuerburgring is THE Mercedes places where all the top bosses are present amongst the spectators. No wonder Haug was besides himself when Kimi nailed it. Personally I'd like to see Kimi win, just to keep the WC interesting. It's good enough if MS get the title at Monza.

Might be hard since he's second on the grid and on the dirty side of the track. Regards, Jon P. Kofod 1995 F355 Challenge #23
